I provide practical instruction that builds confidence and readiness. If you’ve ever wanted to go camping but weren’t sure where to start, I can help you develop the essential skills for a safe and successful outdoor experience.

· Maps and Navigation Overview
· Picking a trail and orienteering
· Day hiking and small excursions (finding local routes)
· Backpacking (small group solo backcountry gear) (B1)
· Backcountry Food and Water
· Wilderness survival scenario (short term 1-4 days)
· Ice survival (intro and self-recovery)
· Ice and Winter Survival (car through ice and winter car problem)
· Shelter from basic items
· Long term Survival (5+days)
· Water and food safety (building a water filter)
